Smarter than a 6th Grader!!

I know I have addressed the fact that I am self taught graphic designer, so clearly if "I don't" know how to do something, in Illustrator, it clearly doesn't exist!! Right? Wrong.  Once again I have learned something!!! I helped a friend (we'll call her Elizabeth Swann) design t-shirts for her Mother's 70th Birthday Party, that being said, another friend (we'll call her Glinda) helped her to have them printed, online. Glinda and Elizabeth were texting back and forth about the format, that Glinda needed.  She needed a .jpg and I could only send her a pdf or .ai. .I tried to figure out how to do it, but couldn't...so clearly it doesn't exist. Right? Wrong! This is the email I got from Glinda:

Yeah, I totally overlooked that idea...But thanks to Glinda pointing out the obvious, I was able to take it one step further and learn.  A. You can save an AI file as a .jpg. And, B. I'm not as smart as I think I am, I may even not be as smart as a 6th grader!!!
